It Gets Even Better

Both Paula Radcliffe and Lance Armstrong have confirmed their NYCM '07 entries. While it is too early to predict her performance, it's reasonable to suggest that Radcliffe, winner of the 2004 edition (see picture), may be trying to qualify for the British Olympic Trials. This is going to be her first marathon following a 2-year layoff and 8 months after the birth of her first child. Meanwhile Armstrong will be seeking to repeat his 2006 sub-3 effort. Carrying less baggage (read: weight) and doing more running, he's definitely poised to achieve that again. Looks like he's hooked!
